This article analyzes the “allocentric/psychocentric” model proposed by Stanley Plog and the opinions expressed by scientists on it. At the same time, based on the Plog model, the indicators of local tourism were studied, as well as the possibilities of using this model in the conditions of Uzbekistan. As a result of the study, tourists visiting Uzbekistan were analyzed by country and geographic region and divided into groups using the Plog continuum. With the help of this grouping, along with the identification of common psychographic characteristics of tourists' demand, important factors that should be taken into account in shaping the supply of tourism services are described.
