This study is devoted to the assessment of the socio-economic efficiency of the organization of tourism and recreational facilities system in Uzbekistan. The main purpose of the study is to analyse the impact of tourism on the social and economic development of the country, as well as to identify the effectiveness of investment in tourism infrastructure. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were formulated: to analyse the existing tourist and recreational system, to develop a methodology for assessing socio-economic efficiency, to conduct data analysis and identify practical recommendations to optimize the management of the system.
