Ayni paytda O‘zbekiston Markaziy Osiyoda mehnat va ta’lim migratsiyasining eng yirik eksportchisi hisoblanadi. Milliy iqtisodiyotda pul o'tkazmalari muhim o'rin tutadi. Maqolada zamonaviy O‘zbekistonda migratsiyaning paydo bo‘lishi va asosiy omillari haqida so‘z boradi. Ilmiy adabiyotlar va manbalar xilma-xilligini oʻrganish asosida Oʻzbekistondan Rossiya, Koreya Respublikasiga mehnat va taʼlim migratsiyasining asosiy tendentsiyalari, dinamikasi va oʻzgarishlarini qiyosiy oʻrganish amalga oshirildi. Unda O‘zbekistondagi migratsiya muammosining ichki omillari atroflicha o‘rganilib, xorijiy davlatlardagi migrantlarning ahvoli, sharoiti va muammolari tahlil qilinadi.
