This article describes the formation of demand for labor in the private sector in Uzbekistan, its importance in employment and the objective reasons for its analysis. The article also describes the demographics of enterprises that shape the demand for labor in the private sector, as well as the distribution of labor force across sectors of the economy. In a market economy, it is important to keep unemployment at a low level, which is a macro-level problem for the country, and to ensure that existing and newly created enterprises are commensurate with the supply of labor in terms of capacity and quantity
