The digital transformation of economies worldwide has placed data science at the forefront of innovation and efficiency. For Uzbekistan, a country transitioning from a resource-dependent to a knowledge-based economy, the integration of data science is critical to achieving sustainable growth and competitiveness. This study examines the role of data science in Uzbekistan's digital transformation through empirical analysis and scientific approaches. Using a mixed-methods approach, including surveys, interviews, and case studies, the research identifies key barriers and enablers of data science adoption across sectors such as finance, healthcare, and agriculture.
