DEVELOPMENT OF TOURISM IN UZBEKISTAN AS A FACTOR IN THE RISE OF THE NATIONAL ECONOMY

This article describes the role of the tourism sector in the economy of developed countries, its share in the gross domestic product, and the state of development of tourism in Spain and Turkey. In addition, the priority areas of tourism development in Uzbekistan, the number of tourists visited in recent years and received income, existing problems in the field were analyzed. Proposals and recommendations have been developed for the development of tourism types in Uzbekistan and the improvement of the quality of tourism services for tourists.
